June/July

June was super busy for me and July slowed down some- After doing the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino Shoot - I got back to California and worked on my Canadian Production - TV Show that airs on Global Network in Canada called "What Ever Happened To"

I got the priviledge to meet and work with some amazing people - including Sherilynn Fenn from Twin Peaks, Jodie Sweetin (full house) who is coming out with a book this fall called "UnSweetened", Morgan Brittney (Dallas, she's the one who shot Bobby), Jamie Walters (original 90210), Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek).

I also finished up working on E! True Hollywood Story - Hollywood Ex Wives - with Gretchen Bonaduce.

After that - I had both my kids birthdays July 16 and July 22 - so that kept me on my toes!

Indian Weddings, Print, TV, and live performances in Lake Arrowhead...

Been super busy on miscellaneous work. Ive been on fabulous Indian Weddings which are such amazing events.

Catalogs, Misc TV, and Gretchens Band Ankh played in Lake Arrowhead with a an encore performance - they blew the audience away with their 80's songs!

This week Im on on some production work for a Canadian production.

July is also both my kiddo's birthdays - so Im planning parties! good times!

Hard Rock Hotel - Commerical

Last week I worked on a Hard Rock Hotel/Casino commercial in Tulsa. The Cherokee Casino in Catoosa is transforming into a Hard Rock. It's going to be an AWESOME place once its all finished!! I'll post some pics once I get them back. :) I did a series of tattoo's - one airbrushed and others hand done! Met some great peeps from Vegas and Tulsa -

This commercial will air regional - Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and not sure where else! beginning in mid July

CNN & E True Hollywood Story

Gretchen Bonaduce and her publicist Victoria have been keeping me busy this week!

Some of that work included Gretchen CNN's Showbiz Tonight yesterday, and press photos for Victoria that afternoon.

Today was full day with E! for a True Hollywood Story on Hollywood Ex wives. Tomorrow Im back on bridal previews and then back at Gretchens...we have a movie set to visit, and booking agents party.

misc projects past 2 weeks

Been working with Gretchen often for her promos for her show. Last week FOX San Diego morning show, and then KTLA this past Monday. Other than that Ive been on various photoshoots and wedding work. just keeping busy in this difficult economic time!

In about a week in a half Im doing a commercial for Hard Rock/Cherokee Casino. Full week shoot! :)

HMAN - Hair & Makeup Artist Network ~ bridal hair/makeup training

Last week - I did a bridal hair and makeup class which will be on video for the HMAN. I believe it will be up for viewing after June 1, 2009. I also did a sit down interview with Michelle Lee founder of HMAN. I will keep you posted on when its up and running. Im used to being behind the camera so it was a bit different but so fun!

Re Inventing Bonaduce and Obsessed premiering this week!

Re Inventing Bonaduce is airing on FOX Reality this Saturday May 23rd at 9pst/8cst, and Obsessed is airing on A & E on Memorial day May 25.

You'll see a little cameo with me on Re Inventing Bonaduce, :) Doing Gretchens Hair and Makeup a couple of times. oh yeah! Ive already seen episode one and its really good!!

Obsessed - I only worked one day a week on this show on the "therapy days" for the doctors. Looks like its really going to be an interesting show - almost too real! It was pleasure meeting the doctors and working with them on this show. They are the most caring doctors Ive ever met. Watch it and you will see that!

Well the past couple of weeks have been quite a challenge as I fractured my left elbow.. .the night before the Oscars.. Which I had Oscar makeup to do - thank goodness I didn't have to do hair.  Luckily my great friend Licia was able to drive me to Kristy Swansons house and open up all my products while I did Kristys makeup.  whew!!!   The past couple of weeks my fabulous hair helper Felvi has been helping me out on jobs.  But Im back to doing some hair!  thank goodness.  :)

This last Wednesday we wrapped on Gretchen's reality show - Reinventing Bonaduce.  However we have some pick up day on Monday.  So I'm still technically working on it.   - 

Working with Gretchen on her show has been a riot!  She is so fun to work with - her show debuts on FOX REALITY CHANNEL May 23rd.

Im  still working on Obsessed which is an A & E show and not sure when that will air.  Last but not least What Ever Happened To - Canadian Production - back on set with that this coming week.  So fun working with these 70's, 80's and 90's stars!!!  :)  I love it!!!

Im so grateful to have many things going on.  Ive been booking out several colleagues on various projects  - due to the extra work thats being coming in.  This week Im on Gretchens show "Reinventing Bonaduce" and a Canadian show documentary.   Thursday is going to be interesting - I have a coffin case shoot with Gretchen Bonaduce  - crazy shoot.  I'll keep you posted on that, not sure I can discuss the specifics just yet. 

 Next week Im working on my canadian tv show where I get to work with various stars from the 70's, 80's, and 90's.  Don't have my list yet on the talent, but that is one of my favorite projects to work on.  You learn so much about their lives, where they came from and how they achieved success.  Its not all glamourous...so many people work sooo hard to get where they are.  People have such a misconception of many stars - and have no idea what they have been through in childhood and/or how hard they have worked.  Its very inspiring!  

 Last week RECAP

Last week was great.  I worked so much - and it was a little hard on my kids.  But we are all adjusting.  

I worked on Gretchens new reality show "Reinventing Bonaduce", and last week it was some of the longest hours ever (fun though!).  We shot all day and into the late hours of the night/early morning.   

Gretchens 80's cover rock band Ankhasunoman  (sp?) played at various places.  Girl Bar, Howl at the Moon - in LA, and then at Blue Cafe in Huntington Bch.  The first 2 shows - I had the pleasure of meeting and hearing the legendary Cherie Curry sing on stage with Gretchen.  Cherie is from the 1st girls band of the 70's (1975- 80), called the Runaways - it had Joan Jett and Lita Ford in that band - Cherie Curry was the lead singer - she started at 15 years old as the singer.  Isn't that amazing!?!  She also wrote a book that is going into a film currently - about their lives in a band at such a young age (sex, drugs, rock-n-roll), and so far Kristen Stewart from Twilight is playing Joan Jett for that movie - and the rest still casting.  Anyways - Cherie is seriously one of the nicest people I have EVER met.  Just a sweet sweet soul - can't even get over it.  :)  Google her - its pretty interesting! - She now is a chainsaw carver artist. -

2009 New Beginnings

2009 is off to a very busy start!  For starters Im booking out weddings and working on some new tv shows.

Last week I did makeup and hair shoot for a Disney Star who is on Disney's Movie Surfers - 

January 23rd wrapped for January's filming of Inside Hollywood - a Canadian production.

January 22nd I began working on Gretchen Bonaduces new reality show called "Reinventing Bonaduce" - this is a show spin off that Gretchen won from the celebrity reality show called "Gimme My Reality Show".  Where she competed among 7 celebrities to get their own show!  & she WON!

Also I also just signed to work another new reality show called "Obsessed".  Obsessed is about people with obsessions and I just work the therapy days.  This show runs 4 months, and I just work one day a week on that - makeup for the doctor.  

2009 is off to a super busy year for myself and my team!
